There was no honest playbook for building in Africa. So we wrote one.

Impact Partner

Tunisia · Madar and MORE

Impact Partner runs founder programmes in Tunisia, and commissioned two: Madar Cycle 2, in 2022 and 2023, with nine seed startups on pitching and investment readiness, and MORE, in 2023, with nine startups building solutions for people with special needs. Eighteen companies, and no two on the same track.

The Challenge

A company building for people with special needs and a seed-stage software company do not need the same session on the same day. A single curriculum would have served the average of the cohort and none of its members.

Our Approach

The diagnosis came first, venture by venture, and the programme was built around what each company actually needed. The cohort shared a calendar. It did not share a syllabus.

Deliverables

A curriculum is what you run when you have not diagnosed the company.
