There was no honest playbook for building in Africa. So we wrote one.
The Challenge
A company building for people with special needs and a seed-stage software company do not need the same session on the same day. A single curriculum would have served the average of the cohort and none of its members.
Our Approach
The diagnosis came first, venture by venture, and the programme was built around what each company actually needed. The cohort shared a calendar. It did not share a syllabus.
Deliverables
A diagnosis for each of the eighteen before the work began
Pitching and investment readiness for nine seed startups, Madar Cycle 2
A programme for nine startups building for people with special needs: MORE
Results
startups across two programmes
of them building for people with special needs
